The Mega Flea Market!

Entrepreneurship WHY!

The Entrepreneurs’ Networking Session with Actor Tommy Wong and Nicholas was great! Not only have we learnt from their experiences, we also have got the chance to source out some business opportunities. Tommy is not only successful, he is very warm-hearted too! (as you can see from the picture)
The session started at 2.30pm and should have ended by 4pm sharp. But however, all the guests are so keen to learn from Tommy, we ended up leaving the place at about 8pm… That’s the impact of a charismatic and successful speaker cum business builder!
What’s more, the food is sponsored(it’s Pizza btw) and entry is Free…
In future, more actors and actresses (from mediacorp) who are business owners themselves would be invited to come for our networking sessions, therefore... do keep a constant check on this website for any updates!
See you all soon!

Bazaar @ Kebun Baru!

This is our first collaborative event with the RC at Kebun Baru and we are excited to see so many residents supporting this event on a Sunday morning. We had various stalls with us, selling products ranging from chocolate, mushroom, fashion & accessories to home & lifestyle products and we also had a magic performance as our finale. All of which were well-received by the residents at Ang Mo Kio.
The whole bazaar was a learning experience and an opportunity for us to meet and interact with new people. We had 200 goodie bag giveaway to all our early birds and lots of residents and even the RC committee members approached us for our events planning services. Currently we’re already planning more exciting events and updates here for you, so stay tuned.
The Mega Flea Market @ Singapore EXPO

“It was a real pleasure working with T.Cartel during the Mega Flea Market held at the Singapore Expo. I had an absolute blast! I enjoyed every single moment of it & wished it never ended. Good crowd & well organised. It goes without saying I look forward to future events! Thanks heaps, T.Cartel!"
- Ingrid Bianca (The Mystical Corner)

“It was a great 3 days Flea market. I nearly miss out the chance of getting a stall with them as I took up another bazaar earlier on the same days. Luckily, the bazaar was cancelled, if not I will not experience such great fun at SINGAPORE EXPO with T.Cartel.
I was hesitating whether to get a stall with them as I have never tried one at SINGAPORE EXPO and I am selling 1st hand ladies fashion wear not those pre-love you get to see at many flea.
To my surprise the crowd there is a mixture of different people getting in the hall and are not searching for pre-love stuff only. I am really glad that I have made the right decision and took a stall with them.
The organizers are super helpful & friendly. Hoping to join the next upcoming event.”
- Sapphire (Little Dresser)

“It was a great Mega Flea Market at Singapore Expo organized by T. Cartel. We enjoyed the professional organization and excellent conditions provided by Owen and his partners. For example, Owen and his partners gave notice to us on time by SMS to take note some activities and provided kind assistance during the whole exhibition, and we were inspired by the spirits of service and excellent communication.
Our product soybean milk maker is a new kind of home appliance, and we considered that it should not be suitable for the flea market at the beginning, however, it proved otherwise by very good sales record.
Thank you very much for your kindly support, and wish working together in the long term.”
- Peter Zhang (Source Sharing Trading Pte Ltd)
“In that 3 days, my sales were 1K+! So I am really glad that I joined the flea market. All thanks to T.Cartel”
- Pinky (APF)
“I would like to highly recommend the Mega Flea Market for both vendors and shoppers. Not only was it a major event with lots of different choice of items sold. Thanks to Mr Owen the organiser, without him and his staffs, Mega Flea Market 2010 @ Expo will not be such an exciting and successful event. I look forward to the next one.”

T.Cartel’s seminar on Entrepreneurship WHY review
Entrepreneurship WHY is a great success!..At first i was not really into the talk and i came just to support my buddy JT,, my expectation was not very high coz being a self organized event, I didn't expect it to be as appealing as those held by some big organizations... The seminar apparently, dawned on me as one of the most inspiring talk i've aver attended. The speaker, was fantastic in catching the attention of the audience. Top knotch quality. Whereas the ambience itself was made so comfortable as to make it more inclusive and reachable. it became something like a class discussion, rather than a rigid and heavy seminar..This way is i think a better way for me to learn about things like entrepreneurship,,where critical and 2way active learning is crucial.. Good job Tcartel,,,Looking foward to your next event.. All d best!! :)

At first, I just want to support Jwo Tyng for this event. I was thinking whether the seminar wld worth my money. It turns out to be great and i'm really looking for the next event. It was very different experience from our MiE lectures or anyth we hear from other bizman. Nicholas has a very unique perspective. His sharing on "destructive innovation" really strike me. All the time, we are thinking how to be creative and innovative abt our biz idea or biz model. But entrepreneurship is not all about technology or creativity. As Nicholas put it, it's about money. But i'm still conservertive on this point. I think it's about value creation and self realization. Thoughts only, i believe everyone has his own understanding. The seminar is very successful, maybe not in terms of quantities but quality of the speakers, the guests and of course the audience and young entrepreneur as well. I felt very comfortable talking with everyone and get many constructive advice from them. I'm very thankful that Nicholas, Tommy and Lawrence can take their precious time and share their insights and stories with us and really listen to our business ideas and give comments. Not many people will do this, not mention their social status and exp in business.

T.Cartel’s seminar on Entrepreneurship WHY review

Nice seminar! I had benefited tremendously from it. This session essentially demostrated the power of networking, even though i had long ago know the importance of it. Well, i think Nicholas has his very special insights on many issues, that makes him stand out from most people. His sharing of experience also set me thinking on many things, including the priority of my life now. Good job Owen for organising the event, as well as setting up of this society.
